It was Terry's wish to have his ashes spread in the Colorado River River/Grand Canyon.
A private river trip on September 18, 2010 will be organized for that memorial. You can email me @ erthquest@aol.com with questions.
Terry started Earthquest in 1978. I will still keep Earthquest Adventure Travel going. However there will be only a few chosen trips offered per year. Most likely one Colorado River trip (in September or October if charters are available) and one Patagonia trip per year probably in February or March.
For those who need to know: Terry drowned on May 24, 2008 while snorkeling at Bequa Lagoon in Pacific Harbor, Fiji. No medical conditions were revealed that suggest death by heart attack, brain aneurysm or stroke. What I know is that it is possible that he was doing a shallow water "Free" dive and possibly blacked out. Terry Brian was a Colorado River guide and Adventure Travel guide for more than 35 years.
